About the chorus
In the spring of 2022, the Reboot Committee brought us together again after a Covid hiatus, to sing outdoors. That group’s successor, the Steering Committee, is now responsible for guiding and organizing JP Jubilee. Our successful Fall 2022 and Spring/Fall 2023 semesters were the result of careful planning on how we might sing together safely indoors. We believe that our rigorous Covid protocol kept us safe from chorus-related cases.
Current COVID precautions
This year, masks will not be required unless there is a spike in Covid as reported by the wastewater monitoring system system. Testing will no longer be required. Members are expected to be current with at least one bi-valent Covid vaccination and with the new vaccine that is coming in the fall as it becomes available. We will no longer verify vaccination status so you are on your honor now. We have air purifiers for our rehearsal space, and we have carefully calculated that we can accept new members in the coming semester.
Fall 2023-Spring 2024
Since COVID, we re-discovered the great joy of singing together again.
We will hold a free concert for friends, family, and community members in early December 2023, and a spring concert in May 2024. All are always welcome to attend our concerts! Donations in support of JP Jubilee will be welcomed as well.
