JP Jubilee

Singing together joyfully since 2013

A no-audition community chorus for seniors based in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts

What is JP Jubilee?

JP Jubilee was founded in 2013 by Liz Anker, who led us in song until her retirement in 2021. Currently under the leadership of Rachel Hassinger, Music Director, along with Avi Randall, Collaborative Pianist, we meet at the Jamaica Plain branch of the Boston Public Library on Friday mornings for fall and spring semesters and hold free concerts each year for friends, family, and members of the community in December and May.

JP Jubilee, Inc. incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the summer of 2024. We greatly appreciate the longtime support we received from the Jamaica Plain Community Centers, which served as our fiscal agent for many years.
