JP Jubilee – Spring 2023

JP Jubilee’s spring semester has begun!

In the spring of 2022, the Reboot Committee brought us together again after a Covid hiatus, to sing outdoors. That group’s successor, the Steering Committee, is now responsible for guiding and organizing JP Jubilee. Our successful fall semester was the result of careful planning on how we might sing together safely indoors, and we are now singing in our first spring semester of the new times.

Some things have changed…

To ensure our health and safety as best we can, we developed a comprehensive Covid protocol. We have air purifiers for our rehearsal space, and we have “grown” smaller in number. Members returning to sing together indoors are confident they can do so safely because of these changes and our ongoing individual and collective commitments to adhering to our Covid protocol.

In the past, JP Jubilee has welcomed new members with a “wide open door” approach. We are happy that we were successful in maintaining the safety of the group in the fall – no singer got Covid from participating in JP Jubilee – and we were able to welcome new members once again for the current semester. We continue to keep membership numbers limited in order to maintain the safety of the group.

And some stay the same!

We re-discovered the great joy of singing together again.

We held a free concert in December for friends, family, and community members. Covid permitting, we will present a spring concert, tentatively on April 29. All are always welcome to attend our concerts! Expect masks to be required. Donations in support of JP Jubilee will be welcomed.
